Jemima, age 4 stayed in Halfways between the 14 - 21st April.

Saturday 14th April - It was 5am when I jumped on mum and dads bed shouting - "it's time to go on holiday!" they didn't seem quite as enthusiastic but I will work on them! After breakfast Mum loaded the car and we were off! I couldn't wait to get there, Luke (my 2 year old brother) just slept the whole time, even through Dads weird singing! The wheels on the bus go squeal squeal squeal! When we arrived in St Davids we went for lunch, the weather was lovely so we sat outside. After dinner we went to our holiday cottage. It was amazing, the garden was huge!

Sunday 15th April - Today was another sunny day. We went to Solva, it is a great harbour with loads of boats! We went for a walk along the coast path, Dad carried Luke in a back carrier, he though it was brill!

Monday 16th April - Today we went to Skomer Island, we saw lots of birds and some big fat rabbits. We walked all the island, it was covered in blue bells and looked very pretty. Luke was in his back carrier again! On the way back, the man who was driving the boat pointed out a one-eyed seal called Nelson! he was very cute.

Tuesday 17th April - Today we went to the beach at Whitesands! I have only been to the beach once before and it was much bigger than I remembered. I built a sand castle and had an ice cream.
Wednesday 18th April - Me and Mum went horseriding! This was my favorite part of the holiday, I rode a brown pony called Pepsi. We had tea in Newgale.

Thursday 19th April - Today we stayed at Halfways. Luke and I played in the garden all day, had a picnic and played hide and seek. I painted a picture of Pepsi to show Nan when we get home.
Friday 20th April - Today we went to Newgale beach, we flew a kite which was great fun. Then we went to St Davids and had a picnic by the bishops palace - it was great. Later we went to Newport and did some shopping.

Saturday 21st April - its time to go home! I am a bit sad but mum said we will come back again soon. I will be glad to see Murphy (our cat) and tell my Nan all about my holiday!
